Level 1 Ballet/Tap (3-7) classes are grouped by age, 3-4 and 5-7. These classes are tailored based on individual ability and experience. Students must be a certain age by October 1st to move to a higher age group. These classes follow a “Leap N Learn” curriculum with a focus on gross motor skills and child development/behavior. We teach manners for dancers, rhythms, patterns, body awareness, stage presence, and confidence. Ballet will teach basic positions and warm-ups as well as movement across the floor. Tap will teach coordinating hand and feet movements while learning basic tap steps. Hip hop is available for students ages 4 and older as an elective, accompanying their ballet/tap class.
Open Entry Level 1 (2-4) Ballet/Tap
Open Entry Level 1 (2-4) Ballet/Tap this class is grouped by age, 2-4. This class is tailored based on individual ability and experience. Open Entry Level 2 (8-13) Hip Hop/Lyrical
Open Entry Level 2 (8-13) Hip Hop/Lyrical is for new and returning students making the transition between our Entry Level and BCDR programs. In this program, the focus is on dance technique as well as body awareness, creative movement, confidence, and self-esteem. This class is fun & a safe place to just move & explore! We rotate between Hip Hop & Lyrical. This class does not perform at the end of the season. Please wear work out/comfortable clothing for Hip Hop with clean sole sneakers. For lyrical & Jazz wear form fitted work out clothing such as a black tank top and yoga/jogger style bottoms & bare feet/socks.
Open Teen/Adult (13+) Modern & Ballet/Conditioning
In Teen/Adult Modern we will explore basic movement fundamentals, terminology, and performance skills of modern dance. Body alignment, building strength, enhancing flexibility, and personal range of motion and musicality will be the main focus. Discovery of Floor Work and Simple Phrases of movement will be included. In Ballet & Conditioning we will build upon the basic steps of ballet, terminology & strengthen our bodies together with conditioning.
Who is this class for? Any teen and adult who wants to move, learn technique, and get an amazing workout.
Dress Code: Leggings & Comfortable Top (non restricting and easy to move in). For modern - bare feet. For ballet & condition - ballet shoes (any style and color is fine) or socks. Hair pulled away neatly from face at all times.

We encourage families to pay their total tuition up by September 30th and receive a 10% discount. We also accept monthly payments, allowing tuition to be split into 10 equal payments, paid at the start of the season (Payment #1 due August 18th) and again on the 1st of each subsequent month (Payment #2 due September 1st, Payment #3 due October 1st, etc).
If you wish to withdraw, please notify us by the 25th of the previous month, and we will not charge you subsequent payments. We do charge a withdraw fee of $49.
Upon registration, level 1 students will pay a 1-time per season fee of $64, which includes a dance bag, leotard, & tights. Teen/adult students will pay a 1-time per season fee of $35.

Open Level 2 (8-13) Hip Hop/Lyrical & Jazz (rotation of genre)
Safe place to explore, move & be free. Expanded dance technique, increased body awareness and alignment, dance etiquette, preparation for Ballet Conservatory (BCDR) for those who may want to eventually study more seriously.

Increased dance technique with upbeat music, skills in rhythm and patterns, body awareness (high vs. low), and body part isolation.

Expanded dance technique with upbeat music. Increase your skills in rhythm dynamics (high/low, fast/slow, hard/soft), master isolations, receive a cardio workout, and have fun! Join us for an energetic class which builds community and offers a place to gather, dance, and let go!

Learn Modern & Ballet technique. Condition & strengthen the mind, soul & body. Explore creative movement. This class is for all levels (no experience needed). This class builds community and offers a place to gather, dance, and let go!

Dress Code
Level 1 (3-4) Ballet / Tap
Dancers must wear a uniform short sleeve pink leotard with pink ballet tights, white ballet shoes, and black tap shoes. Ballet shoes should have excess strings cut from laces. If they are not cut by the first class, the teacher will cut them due to them being a distraction at this age. Black tap shoes should have buckles or elastic to fasten, not ties. Please print your child’s name in each shoe.
The enrollment fee includes the cost of the class uniform leotard and a pair of tights. The uniform pink leotard and pink tights is handed out before the start of the new season.
Dancers must wear a blue leotard, pink ballet tights, tan tap shoes, and white ballet shoes for Level 1 (5-7). Tan tap shoes should lace up with laces. Brands include: Capezio, Dance Now Girls, Bloch, Sansha. Students in 7-11 wear tan jazz shoes for the jazz portion of their class. See links below for specific shoes to purchase.
