Entry Level 1 (Ages 3-7)

Give your child the gift of dance with our Level 1 Ballet/Tap classes for ages 3-7, designed to suit each child's ability and experience. Grouped by age (3-4 and 5-7) and following the "Leap N Learn" curriculum, these classes focus on developing gross motor skills and nurturing positive behavior.

Aspiring dancers will learn etiquette, rhythm, body awareness, stage presence, and confidence while mastering the basics of ballet and tap. For an added groove, children aged 4+ can choose hip hop as an elective to complement their ballet/tap lessons.

Open Entry Level 1 (2-4) Ballet/Tap

Introduce your little ones to the world of dance with our Open Entry Level 1 (2-4) Ballet/Tap class, designed to fit their unique abilities and experience. Following the "Leap N Learn" curriculum, our sessions focus on creative movement, gross motor skills, and child development.

Your child will learn dance etiquette, rhythm, body awareness, and confidence, as well as basic ballet positions and tap steps. This non-performing class adheres to the Entry Level 1 (3-4) Ballet/Tap dress code, with specific details available on our dress code page.

Open Entry Level 2 (8-13)

Discover the joy of dance with our Open Entry Level 2 (8-13) Hip Hop/Jazz class, perfect for new and returning students transitioning between Entry Level and BCDR programs. Dive into a world of technique, body awareness, creative movement, confidence, and self-esteem in a fun, safe, and explorative environment.

Our classes alternate between genres and do not perform at the end of the season. Wear form-fitting workout attire. Example: a black tank top, yoga/jogger style bottoms. Shoes rotate between genres, jazz (any brand/style), bare feet/socks & sneakers.

Schedule for Entry Level Program

Tuition

Read below for the different tuition costs to participate in one of Dance Revelation’s Entry level programs.

We encourage families to pay their total tuition up by September 30th and receive a 10% discount. We also accept monthly payments, allowing tuition to be split into 10 equal payments, paid at the start of the season (Payment #1 due in August) and again on the 1st of each subsequent month (Payment #2 due September 1st, Payment #3 due October 1st, etc). Prices listed for Level 1 Ballet/Tap (ages 3-7) & Hip Hop include performance fees.

pUpon registration, level 1 students will pay a 1-time per season fee of $79, which includes a dance bag, leotard, & tights.

Level 1 (3-4) Ballet/Tap

Early childhood development, fundamental growth, basic body alignment, spacial awareness, and dance technique.

Level 1 (5-7) Ballet/Tap

Expanded dance technique, increased body awareness and alignment, dance etiquette, preparation for Ballet Conservatory (BCDR).

$79

This payment goes towards the weekly classes and Annual Performance fees.

Open Level 1 (2-4) Ballet/Tap

Open Level 2 (8-13)

Hip Hop/Jazz (rotation of genre)

Safe place to explore, move & be free. Expanded dance technique, increased body awareness and alignment, dance etiquette, preparation for Ballet Conservatory (BCDR) for those who may want to eventually study more seriously.

  • $79 per payment

  • This go towards the weekly classes. This class does not performance therefor there is no Performance fees.

Level 1 Hip Hop (4-7)

Increased dance technique with upbeat music, skills in rhythm and patterns, body awareness (high vs. low), and body part isolation.

This payment goes towards the weekly classes and not Annual Performance fees.

Dress Code

Each entry level program has a different dress code requirement. read below for the one specific to your child’s age group and genre.

Level 1 (3-4) Ballet / Tap

Dancers must wear a uniform short sleeve pink leotard with pink ballet tights, white ballet shoes, and black tap shoes. Ballet shoes should have excess strings cut from laces. If they are not cut by the first class, the teacher will cut them due to them being a distraction at this age. Black tap shoes should have buckles or elastic to fasten, not ties. Please print your child’s name in each shoe.

The enrollment fee includes the cost of the class uniform leotard and a pair of tights. The uniform pink leotard and pink tights is handed out before the start of the new season.

Tap Shoe:
Tap shoe - velcro, buckle, or snaps approved (no shoe strings/ties please).
Level 1 Tap Shoe Option 1 (Black)

Entry Level Dress Code for Tap

Level 1 (5-7) Ballet/Tap

Dancers must wear a blue leotard, pink ballet tights, black tap shoes, and white ballet shoes for Level 1 (5-7). Black tap shoes should have buckles or elastic to fasten, not ties. Please print your child’s name in each shoe. Brands include: Capezio, Dance Now Girls, Bloch, Sansha. See links below for specific shoes to purchase.

Level 1 (5-7) Ballet Shoe Option 1 (White)

Tap Shoe:
Tap shoe - velcro, buckle, or snaps approved (no shoe strings/ties please).

Level 1 (5-7) Tap Shoe (Black)

Entry Level Dress Code for Ballet

All male ballet/tap students must wear:

  • White ballet shoes with elastic securely sewn

  • White socks

  • Tap shoes are same as listed above.

  • Beginner levels may wear shorts; as you progress you must switch to black pants.

  • Fitted white t-shirt

Hip Hop & Open Level 2 Hip Hop/Jazz

Workout type clothing, loose fitting/comfortable and clean sole sneakers. For Jazz bare feet, socks or any preferred jazz shoe.
